Catch-All Jury Instruction for Negligent Driving

Transportation Article Section 21-901.1(b) Negligent Driving: You are instructed that a person is guilty of negligent driving if he drives a motor vehicle in a careless or imprudent manner that endangers any property or the life or person of any individual.

Note: This is your one-size-fits-all instruction. There are so many motor tort cases that do not fit into a common fact pattern. This jury instruction gives the jury a chance to find aganist a defendant for doing some act that we all know the driver should not be doing on the road that caused injury to someone else
