Jury Verdict Research released a study a number of years ago that found that the median compensatory award for product liability cases involving transportation products is $3,000,000. This is almost twice the median jury award in product liability cases of $1,531,961.

While these verdicts are high – and the average product liability verdict is much higher – the key is getting a jury verdict. Product liability cases are tough.
